Chateau Val Joanis Tradition rosé 2016
Pale color, delicate nose; lighly floral-herbal, with crisp, dry palate, light-medium bodied. fresh red fruit emerges on the palate, buoyed by vibrant acids; alcohol is balanced. good length. a fine vintage
all in all for this savoury Luberon rose, nicely priced.
Chateau Val Joanis Tradition rosé 2016
This pale salmon shaded rose shows a refined, quite complex nose of dried wild stawberries, persimmon, anise and grapefruit pith (the inside of the peel).
It's medium weight, fairly smooth, with a hint of freshening Co2, but it is warming and rich in the end. Well textured! The finish is very long and loaded with spices, herbs and sour red fruit. a touch of bitterness. excellent length.
